Internet Marketing (more often called web marketing) includes a combination of disciplines. These are the basic disciplines experts work on daily. These NH website services are intended to make your web design highly visible on search engines, and on various social media. We even can help you with PPC campaigns.

How NetSpeak Solutions Can Help You Achieve and Maintain High Traffic Web Design and Excellent Sales Conversion Through Our Web Marketing Services.

Let's start with an overview to answer this question.

Creating a professional web site design for any business is now a NECESSARY starting point for any potential web marketing success using the Internet. This includes following the precepts of "Web 2.0". Once you begin any website design or re-design, you must consider how the integration of web marketing is going to happen "from the start". This is necessary in order to direct and "funnel" traffic and sales through your website. If you already have a website, but it's not performing well, then it needs to be evaluated from the code level on up. From here, professionals like us can see what is needed (like what combination(s) of Internet marketing tactics and strategies are needed to achieve optimum branding, search engine rankings, traffic and sales conversion - all based on your demographics).

You may be familiar with web marketing" principles, and even an expert in applying traditional business marketing techniques. However, "being familiar" with web marketing is not enough. The Internet has created a new set of challenges to marketing professionals. It has its own categories of marketing channels, and to utilize them properly does produce exciting results. However, the territory can be intimidating to navigate; especially if you don’t have the time to master the terrain. Fortunately, NetSpeak Solutions offers EVERY professional web Internet marketing service you'll ever need; and at a cost that's FAR less than a full page, color ad in a trade magazine! And we all know where magazines now end up in a month or two...

NetSpeak Solutions Local NH Website Services: Web (Internet) Marketing:

  1. Search Engine Optimization (called SEO).

Let's talk about some current search engine marketing research. For example, did you realize that 93% of potential clients using the major search engines (Google, Bing and Yahoo) DO NOT look past the first two pages (the top 20 rankings) of the free "search engine results pages" (called "SERP")? In addition, marketing research clearly shows that searchers believe that the top 10 "organic" or "free" rank results represent either the most important people, the most important information, or those businesses that lead in their field. Pew research is a great source for Internet demographic information like much of what was just mentioned.

Search engine rank optimization is time-consuming and multi-faceted. The entire focus of it is on finding ways to make your website content (and not just your home page) easier for search engines to find and rank high on their free search results pages. Page content, content arrangement, linked content with included keywords, META coding (now more important again due to Google's mobile search engine algorithm), inbound links, base coding practices/site structure are probably the biggest factors that contribute to successful natural rankings (especially for "page 1" - the top 10).

  2. Professional SEO companies like NetSpeak Solutions can help you boost search engine rankings significantly - especially in keyword ranking categories where millions of results are indicated. A good reason for why we're do proficient is that we go through ranking "wars" ourselves constantly (on our own site). Therefore, we fully understand all the factors involved and the time it takes to be successful at Internet marketing.

For example, it can take 2-6 months to "dial in" new site rankings in the top 10-20. Then, very careful tweaking becomes necessary to move up from there. The good thing about achieving top 10 rankings is that long-term ranking results usually can be held (unless one or more search engine decides to completely change their ranking algorithm variables). And this does happen!

As for search engines Google, Bing and Yahoo, they account for most searches (Google being well ahead - used for more than 60% of all searches - per a January 2010 Pew research study). And with over 2 billion websites on the Internet, one would tend to think that effective search would be an impossible task - but it's not! All major search engines (not static directories) use programs called "bots" or "spiders" to find and study all hosted web files - including new content on existing websites. So, contrary to what most believe, website submission is unnecessary - and you most certainly DO NOT need to pay for website submission - so don't get scammed.

And today, XML site maps are important for ranking - especially on Google. They provide a site map that ensures that search engine bots properly find and index ALL of your website with complete accurately. By the way, after a search engine indexes a new site, a search engine will then use its own specially engineered rank algorithm (with approximately 100 variables - weighted non linearly). They then categorize and rank an indexed set of web pages. And as we mentioned above, optimum rank time typically takes 2-3 months for "new" websites on Google, and 1-2 months on Bing and Yahoo (depending on the number of competitors using the keywords phrases in a category). One other note, because the algorithms for ranking vary between the major search engines, you will correspondingly see a significant variation in rank results between search engines.

  3. Social Media Marketing

  4. There are "presently" 4 major social networking services most suitable for businesses. They are; Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. The latter is Google owned, and Google has a stake in Twitter too. Bing and Yahoo also signed a paid ad (PPC) deal recently (early 2010) as well.

I intentionally did not mention Myspace, because it's a social network in disarray as of this writing (05-2010). Anyway, to have your own page on any of these social networks you first need to setup an account - which includes some profile information. Many questions can be quite personal, and could be found by others if you don't know how to adjust your privacy settings. From your personal account you can create a business account (and "how" depends on the service you're using). for example, on Facebook, you need to have at least 26 "friends" on your personal page before you can make a business page.

After you've setup an account, you may may find that you need to navigate an often confusing maze of links to figure out how to make your "space" look the way you want it to (not so much of an issue with Facebook). Because this is not always easy, we sometimes assist clients in this part of the process. in fact, most small to medium sized businesses find the process of starting (and maintaining) any social site too time-consuming and actually prefer to work with a website services company to help them with their social networking strategy - and this we do as well.

Finally, there's YouTube for video postings (check out NetSpeak Solutions YouTube channel with this link). YouTube "channel accounts" are great and are not very difficult to setup. They're also a superb means for distributing video-based information to the world 24/7/365. However, a solid knowledge of video file types is advisable. If you have little knowledge of video formatting CODECS, then what you "think" you're loading for the viewing public will likely end up looking like garbage. To be honest though, this can happen to the best of us - since you are dealing with "their" proprietary file converter anyway when you upload video files! and sometimes they render poorly than expected!

Most importantly though, to achieve the full benefit of utilizing any of these social media sites, it's best to have a strategy of "building a community" around your business and/or services with them . To do this, you'll need to utilize the special applications available that tie posts from customers and individuals into other media sites for users. You can also open up and moderate discussion forums, conduct surveys, rate products or services, and speak with "tweeters" or those who post to an account. Once again, some clients may find this to be more "work" than they counted on, but it WILL build your brand, contribute to some towards higher natural search engine rank, and generate better leads! For complete information on social networking visit our page on social media usage for web marketing.

  5. Pay Per Click Advertising Campaigns (PPC).

  6. Pay Per Click advertising is often used to gain an immediate presence on search engines; while optimizing free search rankings. Some of the keyword tools on such services can actually help you see what are the more important keywords in general. Also, a PPC campaign can provide some measurable results on traffic that can help you optimize your natural rank results goals. However, you should NEVER depend on PPC alone. Instead, you should always use it along with with SEO, so you can ultimately avoid paying huge sums of money to the search engines. PPC involves making text-based ad copy (like you see on the top of Google's search pages, and along the right column). These ads are called "impressions". To conduct any PPC campaign, you must choose keywords that are most highly relevant to your products and services, and each campaign ad should correspond closely with the content of a specific page of your site. If you know how to write coded and non-coded web page text, you can tailor campaigns to appear at different times and even point them to special landing pages on your site (i.e., where different search keywords are used). To analyze how you're doing with a given ad campaign, you must also insert code into the website page or pages being targeted.

For any PPC campaign, to maintain your position on a results page, you must constantly adjust the bid level per click for the keywords chosen for your campaign. This will define your "cost per click" of the impression (ad). Generally, the higher you bid for the "cost per click", the higher you'll rank on the top and sides of the search engine results pages. However, if you do a superior job with writing both web page copy and ad copy, then you can actually end up bidding lower than your competitors do - and rank your ad higher! It's a fact. But there are many tricks - and again, if time is a factor you may need to have it done by a professional.

Professional PPC analysts like NetSpeak Solutions can be very helpful with keyword selection, keyword inter-relationships, campaign management and reports. But once again, it's important to keep in mind that PPC is best used for new sites, or whenever significant redesign work is occurring to an existing website. "Costs per click" will add up quickly, and can really hurt a budget - even if you have the most carefully targeted and managed PPC campaign possible. Many SEO companies have reported small to medium sized businesses spending 10's to 100's of thousands of dollars per year on PPC and get hooked on it! We've seen the same thing.

  7. Internet Press Releases and Articles.

  8. Using press releases and articles on the Internet is an extension of SEO. Press release content can include the announcement of a new product or service, or a special promotion. An article would cover something that you feel your company has expertise in. In any event, both need to be optimized for the search engines by including specific keyword-rich content and even links to relevant pages in your website. At NetSpeak Solutions, we can help you write and distribute press/news releases or articles to the many well known online news agencies - so they can gain visibility as well as earn valuable links from the sharing of their content by others; something fundamental to this type of SEO.

  9. Email Newsletters.

  10. Once you begin attracted new customers, it's often a good idea to use email marketing to so they become repeat customers. Professional email marketing services can help you build your contact list, create an email campaign (using pre-designed templates) and even can track your results. Email can be a powerful marketing tool that builds customer loyalty. For those with E-Commerce websites, you can even add discount codes for products and services you're selling around key holidays (or whenever you like).
