Finally, if you are buying your first domain name DO NOT HAVE A WEB DESIGNER, OR DESIGN FIRM BUY IT FOR YOU! If you do, then THEY will be the one who own the domain name - not you! The same goes for your web page hosting/email account. These are both VERY important points to remember.
